alibris is far and away my favorite book site. they’ve added music and movies recently, so i’ll have to take a closer look at that later. brandon and i want to build a fairly substantial library eventually, and buying used from alibris is the best way: the used book prices are amazing. i find their recommendations really intuitive, and the interface is pleasing to the eye.
