Spend an evening at my home.
Both dogs are asleep—one has her head on my leg. My husband is playing video games. Food in the oven. Laptop in hand, about to be discarded for a paperback. Warm, cozy, a little cluttered from laundry piles. But I feel relaxed for the first time in several days.
