On my nails: Essie California Coral
When I think of coral, I usually think of a more orange-y pink, but this shade ends up looking like a little kid’s drawing of the inside of a watermelon. I don’t have any problem with this.

Looking for slightly oversized tops to wear with your shorts? I love this Gap tank ($23, four colors) and dolman-sleeve tee ($35, six colors). Take 25% off today with code MWDEAL.
Activewear for Everyday
I love mixing activewear with other casual clothes. It’s comfortable for running errands but looks more pulled together than sweatpants and a hoodie. Plus, there is nothing I love more than getting extra mileage out of my clothes. If I can wear something at the gym one week and out for coffee the next, all the better!
Here are some outfit ideas to start:

Mix Ellie’s My New Obsession Legging ($60, or $25 with Fit Fashionista Club) with a long tee ($58) and a pair of cute sandals ($25). I have these leggings and wear them constantly—they’re more interesting than basic black leggings and they look great with tunics.

What about athletic pullovers or post-yoga wraps/sweaters? This Gap Fit pullover ($27) looks just as good with skinny jeans ($45) and D’Orsay flats ($38) as it does with yoga pants or crops.

Everyone owns a pair of black leggings, but a pair of athletic leggings (like these from Gap Fit, $55) will last longer and maintain their shape longer than cheap cotton versions. Add an open-back tunic ($34) and ankle boots ($69) for a casual, slouchy outfit.

If you’re looking for the perfect tee to wear with leggings or skinny jeans, Lululemon’s Devotion Tees ($68) are an ultra-long, lightweight option. (They’re pricey, but if you buy one, you’ll wear it constantly—especially in the fall/winter.) Pair it with white jeans or jeggings ($66) and tan/cognac sandals ($90) for a trendy, brunch-friendly look.

I own a couple pairs of Nike Free sneakers and could not love them more. (Full disclosure—I bought mine at a Nike Factory store and if you have one near you, you must check it out! Shoes are typically between $30-$50.) They’re durable and comfortable for long walks but cute enough to wear with cuffed skinny jeans for runs to the grocery store. The print on the pair above ($100) is great. Sneakers look best when there’s a bit of skin showing between the hem of your jeans and the sneaker. These Gap 1969 Skimmer jeans ($70) are a good option. You can wear a plain tee on top, but I love this sweatshirt from ASOS ($43).
