It’s almost National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), and to help support the cause, many retailers have paired up with different breast cancer support organizations to donate full or partial proceeds from the sale of given items.
Like many of you, breast cancer has touched women in my family and is a cause I feel strongly about. The way I look at is that if you’re going to be shopping anyway, why not purchase something that will help someone else?
P.S. Be sure to check the fine print before ordering/purchasing any items. Some proceed donations do not kick in until October 1st.
Here are a few things I found:
- Avon Nailwear Pro in Pink Power, $3 (100% of net profit donated to Avon Breast Cancer Crusade)
- Betsey Johnson Stud Earrings Set, $38 (Portion of proceeds donated)
- AK Anne Klein Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelet, $30 ($50,000 of proceeds to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation)
- Coach BCRF Scarf, $68 (20% of this purchase donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation)
- Sephora Collection BCA Color Palette, $15 (Sephora will donate $1 from the sale of this product to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation)
- Teleflora Pink Hope & Courage Bouquet, $70 (Teleflora will donate 15% of the purchase price to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation)
- Smashbox O-Gloss, $22 (The entire $22 purchase price from the sale of this O-Gloss product will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® between October 1 and October 31, 2011)
- Imagine Candle, $15 (25% of purchase price donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure)
