My Favorite Things, Right Now

I’m exhausted and sick. I wish I had the day off, but alas! No. You’d think I’d be really down in the dumps this Monday morning, but instead I feel happy I got to spend time with my mom, aunt and sister yesterday and I’m also relieved Brandon got some painting and organizing done around the house.

Here’s a few of my other favorite things keeping me going this morning:

Fall always comes faster to Virginia than Maryland.

It was a long drive for a pregnant sicky, but to be honest with you? I enjoyed spending some quality time with my decaf pumpkin spice latte and NPR.

We lucked out with beautiful weather!

Did you see my nails? I clearly don’t have Emily’s skills (Cupcakes & Cashmere), but it’s a start.

My mom found this owl welcome mat.

…And it goes perfectly with my new wreath.

This? This is how I intend on spending any spare second I get over the next few weeks. I’ve got more books than I can possibly read right now and that’s exactly the way I like it.
