If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that I cannot resist the colors navy and gray, but in honor of fall trends, I decided to bring in a new color—army green.

I’m combining a lot of favorites into one outfit here. These pants are one of my favorite pairs, and I’ve worn this striped tank before as you might recall. But, I’m also including here some items I’ve owned for years, but don’t often wear: the flats, the handbag and the jacket, which I bought maybe 3 or 4 years ago, but happily grabbed out of my closet.

This was a perfect summer-to-fall transition outfit too, since if I got too warm, I could just take off the jacket and go about my business.
