It’s a good thing you don’t like Uggs—because they would have done you absolutely no good in this crazy snow storm we just had! You need some boots that are waterproof, comfortable and stylish.

Here’s what I’ve been wearing: horseback riding boots. My mom’s old pair, to be exact.

They are tall (up to your knee), warm and best of all—made of rubber so you can simply wipe of all the salt and grime and they are as good as new. So much more stylish and elegant than rain boots—and they are certainly a lot more affordable too!
