Will someone explain to me the phenomenon of “lip dubs?” Why do I want to see you pretending to sing? At least with Karaoke you make a fool of yourself by…you know…actually singing. I’m tempted to strip the links off this Entertainment-vacuum so as to not drive traffic to this aesthetic wasteland…
I also do not get “lip dubs”. They are pretty much the stupidest thing going. I’m obviously a self-involved and narcissistic person but I cannot imagine recording myself singing along to pop songs just for the fun of it. Who watches these little exercises in self-importance? Really?
Lip dubs are only entertaining if they are made conspicuously in public areas with obnoxiously large gestures and emotion. See here.
