You are in luck! Blazers with jeans and heels ARE all over the place right now, and the best part is that open-front blazers are especially popular. That would eliminate the chest-fit issue, and if you wear a more fitted shirt or tunic underneath, it would help define your waist too.
I’d recommend you check out Urban Outfitters’ selection of blazers. They are affordable (under $100) and on-trend and are made well, besides.
