(Apologies if you follow me on Instagram and already saw this.)
I bought a Foxy Vida diaper clutch a few weeks ago using a voucher I bought on Plum District and wanted to share because I LOVE IT.
So, first of all—it’s real cute. It’s also made of a high-quality, heavy fabric that feels like it will be really durable. It’s a little larger than I was expecting, but I’m actually okay with that because it’s roomy enough for everything I need.
I could fit in a couple diapers, my wallet, a travel pack of wipes and other things (lip balm, hand sanitizer) without a hitch. It also comes with a great changing pad that’s machine washable (on the right).
We’re planning on going to a few things this fall (like the county fair) where we’d like to use the Ergo…but figuring out how to haul stuff without defeating the purpose of using the easy, portable Ergo in the first place is always annoying. Should Brandon take a bag? Should I wear a backpack? (No.) Should he carry the Ergo and I’ll bring the diaper bag or a purse? (Yes to him carrying Isobel, no to me bringing a bag.) I hate carrying a handbag and will look for any excuse to pawn it off on the stroller undercarriage or a bystander such as Brandon or my sister. But my hatred of carrying a bag runs right into my packrat tendencies. I like to have ALL HANDS ON DECK in case of any pseudo-emergency. Diapers? Check! Hand lotion? Check! Snacks? Check! 10 lip balms? Check! Hand sanitizer gel AND spray? Check! (I’m not as crazy as I make myself seem, but I’m CLOSE.)
Anyway, I can’t wait to give this a real-life trial run. Yay for practical things that are also nice to look at!
