It hasn’t felt much like winter the past couple months, but according to a Washington Post article I read this morning, we may be getting colder, snowier weather in February. These boots are winter-weather friendly with a rubber sole, but I like that they also have a modest wedge, making it a good shoe for transitioning between commuting and the office.

If you’re searching for a last minute stocking stuffer to get for a sister, mom, friend (…yourself), consider these amazing slippers from Target. I love the color and the soft faux fur, and they’re substantial enough to wear outside in a pinch.
Target “Christy” Fringe Moccasin Slippers, $14 (from $20), included in Target’s buy one, get one 50% off sale

I’ll admit that these chunky heel ankle boots had me a little wary at first (I got a few 90’s flashbacks), but when paired with outfits like the one below? I’m convinced!

Target Ankle Boots, $25
Libby Edelman Ankle Boots, $90 (from $130)
ASOS Ankle Boots, $90
Steve Madden Ankle Boots, $100

THEY FINALLY RESTOCKED, Y’ALL. Similar styles retail for two, three, four times the price elsewhere, and honestly, you and I both know you’re going to wear these Target boots all the time. A Target boot identical to this pair that was produced two years ago were so amazing I’ve worn them straight into the ground.
Well, these just shot to the top of my Christmas List. How about you?
Target “Kali” Boots in Cognac, $35 (also available in black and dark brown, but cognac is the most versatile of the three in case you were wondering!)

Swirl is KILLING it lately. They’re having a 50% off everything sale today and I just scored these $329 Dolce Vita boots for a mere $29 (with 50% off and an additional store credit I had saved up).
I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of mini wedge boots this winter and BAM! Done.

I love the look of L.L.Bean boots, but if you’re looking for a less expensive alternative (and you’re okay with style over function), try this cute pair from Old Navy.

bigsunglasses asked you:
Hi there! I have been trying to gear up for winter with new shoes, but I’m having some trouble. I typically wear business-y dresses/skirts to work and now that it’s getting colder, I can’t have bare legs and heels anymore. Enter: tights. But, tights don’t look so hot with patent leather pumps, so I’m looking to get some booties. I found a suede pair at Macy’s last night, but foresaw the snow salt stains to come. Any recommendations where I can get a decently-priced pair of black ankle booties?

Here are several pairs I found under $100!
Big Buddha “Utah” Booties, $70
Michael Antonio Booties, $55
Kelsi Dagger “Wilma” Ankle Boots, $56
Jessica Simpson “Minas” Ankle Boots, $43
Nine West “Saven” Ankle Boots, $69
Forever21 Ankle Boots, $27.80
Target “Haile” Platform Ankle Boots, $30
Jean Michel Cazabat Lace-Up Ankle Boots, $99
