derezz asked you:I was looking to buy a cute fake leather jacket around $30 dollars. in black or brown. I was wondering if you already have some looks or suggestions on your blog. I also live in Canada, so I’d prefer canadian stores, if you know about them at all.
All these faux leather jackets are from Forever21’s Canadian storefront and most are in the $30-$40 range!

Cardigans aren’t always boring

Cardigans definitely aren’t boring when they’re in a leopard print, like the Forever 21 version I wore today. I’ve been looking for a leopard print cardigan and this one was perfectly priced, so I grabbed it.

1. Forever 21 Sunglasses
4. Forever 21 Dress
5. Sigerson Morrison for Target Jeweled Flats
With the exception of my shoes, this would appear to be a very Forever 21-centric outfit…

Here’s how to get the look for yourself:
- Forever 21 Leopard Print Cardigan, $16
- bareMinerals Eyecolor in Purist, $13
- NARS Eye Liner Pencil in Kaliste, $21
- Forever 21 Bracelets, $5.80
- Forever 21 Ruffle Front Jersey Dress, $18
- Nine West Flats, $50

My Favorite Things, Right Now
1. This Forever 21 fleece-lined sweater I got in the mail today. For only $14, it is the perfect slouchy fit, warm, cozy and that heather gray non-color I like so much. Wearing it now with Brandon’s Hollister sweats, but I’ll wear it out too: with jeans and a scarf and boots or something.
2. Every day I am falling harder and harder for my Kindle. It’s an addiction: I love reading on it, I love how I can hold it with one hand (and turn pages with the same hand) and I love the instant access to books. (I have some great book reviews coming up next week too.)
3. Speaking of books, for all you fashion people, have you read The Fashion File by Janie Bryant? Brandon got it for me for Christmas and it’s a book filled with tips and inspiration from Bryant, who is the Mad Men costume designer. I tend to poo-poo fashion or style books because they are generally bad and/or dated by the time they go to print, but this is one worth having. It’s a genuinely good style advice-type book and has a gorgeous layout, too. If you’re about to buy Style by Lauren Conrad, save your money and get this one instead.
4. Brandon’s parents bought us a Keurig coffeemaker for Christmas and I’ve been churning out and drinking unholy amounts of coffee since. I know these are super-hyped, but it’s really well-deserved. It’s so easy, there’s virtually no clean-up and the coffee is brewed perfectly every single time. (Also, the largest cup size setting on the Keurig fits perfectly in my favorite Williams-Sonoma Cafe Mugs, which I’ve written about before here too.)
5. Sometimes it’s the little things: I found a nearby restaurant that makes fantastic sushi—and delivers fast. [These things are a big deal in the suburbs, y’all.]
What are your favorites right now?

Forever 21 paired up with five of my favorite bloggers to feature their picks.
So, so awesome!
Whose picks do you like best? I’m partial to Emily’s, but I love me some Cupcakes and Cashmere!

You know how you have a few dresses that you can always rely on? They work in the winter and the summer, they work for going out with friends or for brunch on the weekend and you can always pull it out of your closet and feel good wearing it?
This is that kind of dress. And it’s only $15.50. Wear with your favorite wedges and a summer scarf, or with flip flops and a long necklace. In the winter, try gray tights and slouchy brown boots. For less than the price of 4 Starbucks lattes, you’ll have a year-round wardrobe favorite.
Forever 21 Striped Knit Dress, $15.50

The perfect weekend t-shirt for less than $15. The hardest part is choosing which one to buy. Or buy all three. I won’t judge!
(Buy larger than your actual size—F21 is a juniors store and these shirts should not be worn skin-tight.)
Sweet Flats Top, $13; Rebel Chic Necklace Tee, $13; Glitter Bow Tee, $12

Nothing gets me motivated to work out like comfortable, cute activewear. Shallow, perhaps, but true!
Forever 21 introduced some activewear—and nothing’s over $16. My pick is the jacket above that has thumbholes in the cuffs to keep the sleeves down while you’re moving around.
Crop Pant, $11; Striped Tank, $6; Sports Bra Top, $10; Jacket, $15

I’ve blogged before about my great love for Forever 21’s owl and elephant rings.
Well, I guess those rings were pretty popular because you can now choose from a plethora of owled and elephanted finger accessories.
I want them all, but if I had to choose—okay, I want them all. No compromising.
P.S. Don’t you love the parrot?
Top row: Owl Ring, $4.80; Owl Head Ring, $3.80; Elephant Head Ring, $2.80
Middle row: Tiger Head Ring, $4.80; Frog Ring, $3.80; Owl Face Ring, $5.80
Bottom row: Elephant Ring, $3.80; Gold Elephant Ring, $3.80; Parrot Ring, $3.80

Need a cute last minute gift—for less than $5?
Forever 21 has over 60 items available for $5 or less and there are tons of cute stocking stuffers to choose from, including these zipper detail hair clips.
An affordable Christmas is a stress-free Christmas!

I LOVE Forever 21’s new Tres Paris Twist line. It’s stylish, adorable and affordable. You really can’t go wrong. I kind of want everything.
And, if you can’t decide what to get, the styling on the model shows off each piece really well. One of my favorite looks, above, is nearly sold out, so I’d check in stores before heading online to buy.
Wild Rose Headwrap, $5, sold out
Bow Front Skirt, $20, sold out
