RAINY DAY GIVEAWAYS
It’s been a long week, guys. Dreary and rainy—but it’s almost Friday and almost the weekend! If you are having a long week, here are some fun giveaways to perk up your day!
Sula Beauty sent me one of their new fragrances and it’s divine! It’s part of a duo: the first is Lovebirds Fresh and the second is Lovebirds Tropical. I received the Tropical version and sprayed it on and asked Brandon for his advice, as he has a very discerning nose. His response? “It smells really good.” It does! It’s a soft and beautiful scent and the bird packaging has me thinking about my tattoo again. I’m also excited because it retails for only $32! (About half your standard designer eau de parfum bottle.)

My sister bought me a set of the scent Secret Charm from Victoria’s Secret “Secret Garden Collection” and I’m telling you—it is just divine.
I can’t even describe it—it’s just delicious. The website says it’s a combination of honeysuckle, gala apple and stephanotis. Who knew?
Anyway, it smells great, has amazing staying power for the price and oh, the price!
It’s about $9 for any of the items, including a eau de toilette perfume, body lotion, body mist, body wash, cream, butter, etc. You can also purchase a $14 gift box. A post-Valentine’s day treat, perhaps? :)
An Epic Saga: My Perfume
The summer before I went to college, I wanted to get a “signature” fragrance to wear at school. I chose I Love Love by Moschino and it was a very fortuitous decision. To this day, Brandon gets a silly little doe-eyed grin on his face when he smells it because he remembers how fantasticly hot I looked when we first met. That’s what I hope he’s thinking anyway.
Anyway! After I finished the bottle (rather quickly), I tried out Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue because it has a similar smell to I Love Love and it’s also a perfume with legendary staying power.
I like to switch around my fragrances, but I haven’t found one since that I loved quite as much. I’m not willing to spend $80 on a perfume that I’m not sure I’ll like after wearing it for a week, and I’m so indecisive that I even drive myself crazy.
Enter Victoria’s Secret Pink with a Splash in “Fresh & Clean.” This $15 bottle of body mist smells EXACTLY like my $60 bottle of D&G Light Blue and the scent stays for hours—and hours. You can buy two for $20 right now either online or at your local VS store.
