I usually think Modcloth is criminally overpriced, but I’d wear this basic tee ($19.99) and these sandals ($29.99) all the time.

Seeing lots of ankle-tie espadrille sandals around but these from Old Navy come in a variety of colors/prints and are well-priced ($20).

I love your style, so I wanted to get your opinion on something! I'm wondering if you think the avarca sandal could be professional-looking, or if its doomed to be a casual shoe. For example - paired with a nice pair of jeans, v-neck+blazer? Not too professional, just young & casual professional. Thanks for your help!

I think this is a hard call. Avarca sandals are more casual looking than other sandal styles (like t-straps or mini wedges). But, I think that if you work at an office that allows employees to wear denim and/or sneakers, you’re probably good to go with sandals.

A helpful way to figure out what to wear with sandals at a casual office is to pretend that they’re ballet flats.

Go a little more dressy than you might otherwise to offset how casual the sandals are. You can keep jewelry and hair simple so it’s not too buttoned-up. I like this LOFT blouse ($50) with this ASOS skirt ($42). A minimal bag, like this Topshop satchel ($68), is a good pick.

I think this is a good take on your suggestion (jeans, v-neck, blazer) that is just a tad more work-friendly. These Gap skinny trousers ($55) are a great jeans alternative. A sleeveless blouse, like this one from J.Crew ($68), is practical for summer. Add a colorful jacket, like this one from Banana Republic ($148). I included these Henri Bendel bangles ($88) too.

Piperlime added additional shoes and apparel to their sale section, including these two shoes that I’ve noticed before and liked. DV by Dolce Vita’s Tremor wedges are marked down to $60 (from $80) and are also available in nude, black and snakeskin. Nine West’s Syncorswim sandals are adorable and marked down to $55 (from $70).
