I got to see the Josie Natori for Target line in person the other day and was impressed with the floral prints and the quality of the items for the price. My favorite items were the chemise and robe sets and the pretty floral bras/underwear.

If you’re searching for a last minute stocking stuffer to get for a sister, mom, friend (…yourself), consider these amazing slippers from Target. I love the color and the soft faux fur, and they’re substantial enough to wear outside in a pinch.

THEY FINALLY RESTOCKED, Y’ALL. Similar styles retail for two, three, four times the price elsewhere, and honestly, you and I both know you’re going to wear these Target boots all the time. A Target boot identical to this pair that was produced two years ago were so amazing I’ve worn them straight into the ground.
Well, these just shot to the top of my Christmas List. How about you?
Target “Kali” Boots in Cognac, $35 (also available in black and dark brown, but cognac is the most versatile of the three in case you were wondering!)

Stripes & sequins

I’d had my eye on this striped shirt at Target with sequin-covered shoulders for a while, but didn’t get it because (if you haven’t noticed) I’m pregnant and buying clothing isn’t exactly high on my priority list right now. However! The other day I was browsing the clearance section and it was marked down to $10 or something like that and somehow (not sure how this happened) it ended up in my basket and then I paid for it and now it’s in my closet. It was all a blur, really, and I blame the baby.

  1. Scarf (Gift) (Similar from 525 America)
  2. Target Boat Neck “Artist” Tee
  3. H&M MAMA Skinny Pants (Similar from ASOS)
  4. Target Boots (Similar from Charlotte Russe

Also: H&M Gray Tank, Pink Earrings (Gift) (Similar from The Limited)

Quick note about these pants: they are a deep, deep indigo (almost black, but really just the inkiest blue) and made of the softest material. They’re maternity pants with a panel, but fit great through my hips—which has been hard to find with maternity pants. If you’re looking for a good maternity pant, try H&M!

[I had so far resisted this classic “I’m pregnant and love hugging my stomach” pose!]

Target has really found a niche in providing affordable, stylish boots the past few years. This season, they’ve come out with several higher quality, genuine leather versions, like this classic riding boot style above. For less than $100, these are not only a great deal, but really cute too. I’d wear them a pair of black skinny jeans, a striped tee and a bright scarf.

Now & Later - Boots

Last year, I blogged all the time about my favorite fall boots (the Kaden style from Target). At a mere $35, I wore the hell out of them and intend to do so again this fall/winter.

Unfortunately, Target no longer makes the exact style, but does have a few similar ones, like the boot above: the Karima Leather Boots ($50). They’re a bit more expensive, but made from genuine leather, so they’ll likely last longer than the Kaden style anyway.

If you’re a bit anxious to begin wearing your boots (or this pair, specifically), below are two looks: one that will work now, with more moderate temperatures, and one that will look great later, when things start to really cool down.

NOW

  1. Envy “Medium Tool” Bag, $46
  2. Old Navy Vest, $25
  3. Forever21 Silk Floral Dress, $33
  4. Therapy Sam Belt, $22
  5. Oasis Coral Ring, $22
  6. Marc by Marc Jacobs Stud Earrings, $48
  7. Target “Karima” Leather Boots, $50

LATER

  1. H&M Coat, $56
  2. We Like Fashion Mocca Scarf, about $20
  3. Forever21 Silk Floral Dress, $33
  4. BDG Pebbled Tote, $69
  5. Falke Gray Tights, $59
  6. Target “Karima” Leather Boots, $50

Warm weather florals

This dress was one of those great Target finds (only $9). I was hunting through the racks and came across several floral dresses in different styles, all marked down to next to nothing. I can never get enough light dresses like this for summer: they’re basically my version of a summer uniform. When the weather gets really hot and humid in July/August, I cringe at the thought of putting denim on. These little dresses are the perfect solution.

1. Forever 21 Sunglasses

2. Scarf - Gift

3. Forever 21 Flower Ring

4. Target Floral Dress

5. Bitten Wedges in Dark Purple

Yes, these wedges—which I think cost me $6.99 or something—have lasted me since the days of Bitten by SJP. They’re so comfortable and the perfect shade of dark purple (which is nearly as versatile as navy). My sister and I used to love running down to see the new Bitten merchandise on our lunch break in college and we’d grab dresses for $10 and t-shirts for $8.

Here’s how to get the look for yourself:

Daily Outfit

  1. Forever 21 Ring, $5.80
  2. Urban Outfitters Scarf, $24
  3. Forever 21 Chiffon Floral Dress, $23
  4. G by Guess Aviators, $34
  5. Talbots Snake-Embossed Peep-Toe Wedges, $99

Leather and lace

Here’s another NYE outfit idea for you all, since I think I’ve exhausted sequins for the week. I love finding skirts with a defined waist band since I am generally straight up and down and it’s hard for me to define my waist without a belt. I also love finding clothes for $8, which is how much this skirt cost at my local Target.

(I also wanted to put together an entire NYE outfit from Target and managed to do it!)

1. Target faux leather jacket

2. Target pocket tee

3. Target Xhilaration lace skirt

4. Target black tights

5. Target booties

Here’s how to get the look for yourself:

1. Target Pocket Tee, $8

2. Target Xhilaration Lace Skirt, $18 (check your local Target store before buying online—these skirts are on sale in-store)

3. Vero Moda Faux Leather Jacket, $51

4. Charlotte Russe Bow Booties, $35.50
